Ana Meireles

She started her dance studies at the age of 4 at Ginasiano Escola de Dança, where she stayed until graduating from high school. In 2017, she moved to The Netherlands to complete the dancer/maker Bachelor degree at ArtEZ University of the Arts, in Arnhem.

Ana is currently working as a freelance dancer, maker and dance teacher. She is focused on creating her own choreographic work both on an individual and a collective level, as well as working with different dancers and choreographers that inspire her and make her eager and hungry to grow personally and artistically. Recently she has been inspired by the urban contemporary dance field and within it, she is finding and developing her own movement language. She has begun to share it through her own class practice and will proceed to sharing further through her choreographic work.
